The UFC makes another trip to the O2 Arena in London, England as UFC 286 will take place on March 18. The Main Event will be headlined by British welterweight champ Leon Edwards who will make his first title defense against former champ Kamaru Usman.
Main Event – Edwards vs. Usman 3
This will be a trilogy fight for Edwards and Usman who are currently at 1-1. Usman won the first fight in Dec 2015 by unanimous decision. The second time they fought was in Aug 2022 when Usman defended his belt and lost to Edwards after he was put to sleep in the final minutes of round 5.
Usman dominated most of the fight and was on his way to win by unanimous decision against when he got caught by a head kick that put his lights out. Usman wanted an immediate rematch and got one but this time it will be in the UK which will favour Edwards who will enjoy the home support.
Some of the other exciting fights at UFC 286 is the co-Main event which will see Justin Gaethje take on Rafael Fiziev; Jack Shore fight Makwan Amirkhani; and Muhammad Mokaev fight Jafael Filho!
