Brit Tommy Fury ended up winning his fight against YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul over the weekend. Fury ended up winning by split decision which shocked fans as they felt that Fury should have got a unanimous decision, considering he dominated the fight.
Jake Paul Says Sickness And Injured Arm Hindered Him
This was the first loss in Jake’s short boxing career. He entered the fight against Tommy Fury with a 6-0 record was went in very confident. This was the first time that Jake faced a professional boxer but he did well to hold up and last all 8 rounds.
Jake would later go on to say that he took ill twice during this fight camp and fought with an injured arm. Jake said that prevented him from giving his best performance but he did not want to make any excuses.
Tommy Fury Open To Rematch
Jake Paul had a rematch clause in his contract with Tommy Fury and is likely to invoke that clause later in the year. Tommy Fury says he is happy to give Jake the rematch and this time around, he will not leave it to the judges and finish the fight with KO.
