Jon ‘Bones’ Jones will make his return to the UFC Octagon after a three year layoff. Widely considered the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) by the MMA community, Jones will move up a weight class to make his long awaited debut at heavyweight.
Jones Promises To Finish Gane At UFC 285
UFC 285 is set to take place on March 04 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The Main Event will be headlined by Jon Jones vs. Frenchman Ciryl Gane as they fight for the heavyweight title which was vacated by Francis Ngannou.
Gane has just one loss in the UFC and that was against the champ Ngannou who used his wrestling to take Gane down and win by decision at UFC 270 in Jan 2022. During the last 12 months, Gane has worked on his take down defense and wrestling but will it be enough to stop Jones from taking him down.
Jon Jones says that he isn’t intimidated by Gane’s kickboxing skills or his power as he has faced more accomplished kickboxers in the past. Jones says he is confident that this fight will not go the distance and that he will finish the fight to become the new heavyweight champ!
