The 2023 Rugby World Cup is now less than a month away and some of the 20 participating teams have already named their World Cup squad. The 2023 Rugby World Cup will take place in France from 08 September to 28 October across 9 stadiums.
The defending champions are South Africa and their biggest challenges are likely to come from New Zealand and England who lost to South Africa at the 2019 Rugby World Cup!
New Zealand Name All Black Squad
The All Blacks who were once the most dominant team in World Rugby have lost some of their aura in the last couple of years with losses to good and not so good teams! One of the reasons for this is because some of their top players have retired in the last few years.
The All Blacks have named a pretty strong squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup which features top stars like Ardie Savea, Richie Mo’unga, Aaron Smith, Sam Whitelock, the injured Brodie Retallick and the three Barrett brothers.
Some of the players missing in action are the injured TJ Perenara, Brad Weber and Folau Fakatava. Have the All Blacks picked their best team and will this team be good enough to win the 2023 Rugby World Cup?
