The Indian cricket team have just come back from a successful outing in the Asia Cup where they emerged as champions. Their next challenge will be at home against Australia in a 3 match ODI series that will take place from Sep 22 to Sep 27.
India Favourites To Win At Home
Australia are coming off a tour of South Africa which ended on a disappointing note as the Aussies lost the 5 match ODI series 2-3. The first match will take place on Sep 22 at Mohali, the second ODI will take place on Sep 24 at Indore and the final ODI will take place on Sep 27 at Rajkot.
Australia will struggle in sub-continent conditions but their best chance of winning is in the first two ODIs as India have decided to rest some of their top players including captain Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya.
Australia will be playing at full strength as Pat Cummins will return to the ODI squad along with Mitchell Starc, Glenn Maxwell and Steve Smith. This is a big series for both sides as they prepare for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup which starts in India on Oct 5.
