at The UFC has surprised MMA fans by announcing a couple of exciting fights for its UFC Austin Fight Night Card. The UFC heads to Austin, Texas on Dec 2 and will thrill fans by giving them two 5 round fights for the Main Event.
Typically UFC Fight Night cards have only one 5 round Main Event. However, given the fact that they put together a fantastic co-Main Event, they decided to make it 5 rounds.
Beneil Dariush vs. Arman Tsarukyan – Main Event
The Main Event will be headlined by a fantastic matchup between veteran Beneil Dariush who will take on the talented Arman Tsarukyan who is keen to break into the top 5 of the lightweight division and push for a title shot.
Dariush is coming off a loss that prevented him from getting a title shot and will want to finish Tsarukyan to show the UFC brass that he still has it in him to make another run for the title.
Dan Hooker vs. Bobby Green – co-Main Event
The co-Main Event will see the return of Kiwi Dan Hooker who has agreed to fight veteran Bobby Green in a 5 round bout, which is likely to be a war as both fighters love to stand in the middle and bang.
