BCCI Drops Clarke From Commentary Team
A video clip showcasing an altercation between Michael Clarke and his girlfriend in Noosa showed the Clarke being slapped multiple times for allegedly cheating on his girlfriend and ended with Clarke retaliating.
Clarke has since apologized for his actions and said he was shattered as his actions were unacceptable. The Aussie public appear to be a lot more forgiving of Clarke but his actions have cost him his spot on the commentary team to India as the BCCI has decided to drop Clarke due to this incident.
Clarke has accepted another commentary gig during Feb and March as he will now commentate on the Pakistan Premier League (PPL).
Clarke has criticized Australia’s preparation ahead of the India tour, stating that Australia has no tour game scheduled before the test series and believes the lack of sub-continent preparation will hurt Australia’s chances to win the test series!
