Ja Morant has received a lot of criticism on social media during the last week after a live Instagram video from a strip club in Denver, Colorado showed the 23 year old NBA star with a handgun!
Morant was the one who launched a live Instagram video from his account to show his 7 plus million followers the kind of fun, he and his friends were having at the strip club but did not know that it would get him in hot water with the NBA and with the police.
Ja Morant Enters Rehab In Florida For Counselling
The Glendale Police Department investigated the matter once the video went viral and said that they would bring no charges against Ja Morant as he did nothing wrong since Colorado is an open and carry state.
However, his actions has caused problems for the Memphis Grizzlies who granted him a 5 year contract extension for $231 million and commences from this season. The NBA has also opened an investigation into Morant’s actions.
Morant immediately issued an apology for his actions and is now reported to have checked into a counselling facility in Florida. The Memphis Grizzlies are unsure when the 2 time NBA All Star will return!
