The UFC will hit another milestone in April 2024 when it runs its UFC 300 pay per view card. The UFC always looks to stack its pay per view cards but has looked to make it extra special for its big UFC 100 and UFC 200 cards.
MMA Fans Unsure About UFC 300
There is a lot of speculation growing already as to who will be the Main Event and co-Main Event for UFC 300. Most of the champions are fighting in the lead up to UFC 300 or are out injured which leaves very few big names left to headline UFC 300.
There were rumours initially that Conor McGregor could be back for UFC 300 but that’s been put to rest by his coach John Kavanagh who says McGregor will likely fight in the summer. Heavyweight champ Jon Jones is out injured while former middleweight champ Israel Adesanya has taken a break from the sport.
UFC lightweight champ Islam Makhachev will also be out due to Ramadan and it will likely be too soon for featherweight champ Alex Volkanovski to return as he is defending his belt in Feb 2024.
The UFC has made it a habit of putting together exciting fights for its big cards and it will be up to UFC President Dana White and his team to make UFC 300 one of the biggest cards in 2024.
